UDF candidate from Vadakara, KK Rama MLA, has filed a complaint alleging that fake and obscene propaganda is being spread against him through social media. Rama has filed a complaint with the Kozhikode Rural District Police Chief. The complaint states that the videos circulating that the candidate was stopped at Chombal Harbor are completely baseless. Rama has also pointed out in the complaint that there is a conscious attempt to commit personal assassination through obscene and ambiguous posts. Artificially created visuals are being widely circulated against her using artificial intelligence (AI). She said that the spread of such fake videos and posts through several social media profiles is causing her defamation and demanded that strict legal action be taken against those behind this. The Vadakara MLA pointed out that such cyber attacks during the election season are anti-democratic.
