Congress has filed a complaint with the Election Commission over the incident of stopping UDF candidate Ramesh Pisharody during his election campaign in Palakkad Vadakkunthara. The complaint is against a BJP councilor and others. The complaint states that the candidate was threatened and denied his legal campaign rights. A case was registered against BJP workers last night in the incident. The first accused is Sindhu Rajan, a BJP member of Palakkad Municipality. The Palakkad Town North Police has registered a case against three people including Sindhu Rajan. The FIR states that BJP workers threatened him.
