Kottayam: Serious negligence at Kanjirappally Government General Hospital. A body kept in the morgue was found in a decomposed state. The body of a native of Manimala was shown disrespect. The body was kept in a non-functioning freezer. When the relatives arrived, they found the body emanating a foul smell. The relatives then protested at the hospital. Meanwhile, the hospital authorities admitted their negligence in the incident. The authorities said that action will be taken against the staff who showed negligence.
