Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar on Tuesday expressed confidence that Congress MP Rahul Gandhi will become the Prime Minister in 2029, saying the country is yearning for a "change". Speaking at the India Today South Conclave, Shivakumar stressed that the Congress will retain Karnataka in the 2028 assembly elections instead of revolving door politics in the state.
