The High Court has ruled that the toll collection at Paliyekkara on the Edappally-Mannuthi National Highway will not be restored. The High Court clarified that it had directed the central government to take a decision and that the toll collection was frozen until a decision is made. The National Highway Authority has requested that the toll collection be restored and the order amended, stating that the problem on the service roads is being resolved. However, the court rejected this demand. The petition related to the traffic problem on the Edappally-Mannuthi National Highway will be considered again tomorrow.
