A woman died and four members of her family are suspected to be trapped under the debris after a landslide hit a village in Himachal Pradesh's Kullu district on Monday night. The incident took place around 1:30 am. Two houses were completely destroyed in the landslide in Sharmani village of Nirmand in Kullu. Police and local officials confirmed that five members of a family are trapped under the debris. The body of Shiv Ram's wife Baresti Devi was recovered from the debris. Four others, Chunni Lal, Anju, Jagrathi and Pupesh, are still missing. A search operation was launched immediately and rescue operations are underway.
