There are indications that countries including India will further increase tariffs. As part of this, a virtual summit of BRICS countries will be held today. European Union commissioners will arrive in Delhi today for trade agreement negotiations. The India-European Union agreement is planned to be signed in January. If the negotiations are successful, European leaders will be invited as Republic Day guests.
