Yamaha has launched the FZ-X, which has been upgraded with hybrid technology. Another highlight is the new TFT screen with turn-by-turn navigation. The bike is priced at around Rs 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The company is aiming to launch the bike in the market for the upcoming festive season. Designed to improve energy efficiency, this hybrid system includes a smart motor generator (SMG) that charges the battery. It works in conjunction with the engine to provide a slight torque boost for faster acceleration. The benefits of this technology also include silent engine starting and an idling start-stop function.
