The woman drove her car for about eight kilometers on the railway tracks near Shankarpally in Hyderabad. 34-year-old Vomika Soni is from Uttar Pradesh. Railway employees tried to stop the woman after seeing her driving on the tracks, but she continued to drive on the tracks. The video of this went viral on social media. The woman stopped her car and pelted stones at locals and policemen. The police said that the woman who was taken into custody has been sent for a medical examination and that Vomika is suspected to have mental problems. Railway officials said that two goods trains and two passenger trains were delayed for about half an hour after the woman drove her car. The woman is an IT employee and the railway police will file a case against the woman in the incident, officials said.
