A man-eating leopard that attacked and killed a four-year-old girl in Valparai was caught in a trap. The leopard was caught in a trap set by the forest department near the Pacha Mala Estate. The body of the child was found in the forest 300 meters away from the estate. The body was found half-eaten. It is believed that the leopard had abandoned it after the attack. The body was found after an extensive search. The leopard had abducted a four-year-old girl who was playing in front of her house the previous day. After hours of searching, the body of the child was finally found. Then, a cage was set up to trap the leopard that had spread terror in the village.
