Tourists banned from Idukki Dam View Point, which has gone viral on social media. The ban has been imposed considering the risk of tourists getting into danger in a place without security arrangements. The travel ban was imposed by the Forest Department. The road was blocked by bamboo to prevent people from entering the forest area. You have to travel about one kilometer through the forest area to reach this area. Since this is not a tourism area, hundreds of tourists come to this place every day without any security arrangements or precautions. Not only that, there is also a large gorge in this area. Considering these, the Forest Department has imposed restrictions on the entry of tourists. The Forest Department clarified that tourists will not be allowed to enter the area until further notice.
