Iran has rejected a 48-hour ceasefire proposal put forward by the United States in the Middle East. The Fars news agency reported that Iran rejected the proposal, which was received via another country on Wednesday. Iran said the move was to overcome the setbacks suffered by the United States due to its miscalculations about its military capabilities. Iran recently attacked a US military depot on Bubiyan Island in Kuwait. Following this, the US has intensified diplomatic efforts.
