The faithful are observing Good Friday today, remembering the suffering and crucifixion of Christ. There will be special prayers and the Way of the Cross in various churches. Cardinal Cleemis Catholicos, Thomas J. Netto and Thomas Tharay will participate in the joint Way of the Cross at 6.30 am in Palayam. Archbishop Raphael Thattil will lead the services at St. Mary's Cathedral. Orthodox Church President Baselios Marthoma Mathews III Catholicos Pampady Mar Kuriakose will be the main celebrant for the Good Friday ceremonies at Dayara.
