Mohanlal gets relief; Delhi High Court orders removal of links violating personal rights

    Delhi: The Delhi High Court has taken action on a petition filed by actor Mohanlal seeking protection of personal rights. The court has ordered the removal of the links submitted by Mohanlal. Mohanlal's petition demanded the removal of all videos that violated personal rights. The petition mentioned that AI is being used to clone his voice, produce and distribute images and videos, and all of these are being used for commercial purposes without his permission. Actor Mohanlal filed the petition with social media giants including Meta as the opposing parties. Delhi High Court Justice Jyothi Singh considered the case. Advocates MF Philip, Srihari Indu Kaladharan, and Smitha Damodaran Nair appeared for Mohanlal in the case. The court asked the online e-commerce company why Mohanlal's image was used without permission. The online company replied that it would remove the unauthorized use. The court has directed the opposing parties to file a report on the removal of links that violated personal rights. The order is to file a report within 4:30 today. The case will be considered again on July 4th.
