Thrissur: C.C. Mukundan has been expelled from the CPI. Nattika MLA and CPI Nattika Mandal Committee member C.C. Mukundan has been expelled from the primary membership of the party for serious anti-party activities. The CPI Nattika Mandal Committee announced this through a press release. The CPI also clarified that C.C. Mukundan, who has been representing the party as Nattika Constituency MLA for the last five years, has been continuously violating party discipline and engaging in anti-party activities. The expulsion press release explained everything the party has given to Mukundan and his family since he was given party membership at the age of 22. The party has tried to make corrections by taking disciplinary action on several occasions citing such disciplinary violations. As part of this, during the last party conference, he was removed from the district executive as part of the party disciplinary action and was working as a Nattika Mandal Committee member from DC. After the party's state executive decision regarding the Nattika Mandal candidate for the upcoming assembly elections, C.C. Mukundan has made serious and baseless allegations against the party before the public. In addition, he is taking a public stance that the UDF will contest as an independent candidate in connection with the Congress leadership. C.C. Mukundan has committed an extremely serious and serious disciplinary violation without the party discipline and party conviction that he should follow as a party member and MLA of the party. In this situation, C.C. Mukundan has been expelled from the primary membership of the party as a disciplinary action in accordance with the party constitution and this action has been approved by the party's Thrissur District Council, the CPI Nattika Mandal Committee said in a press release.
