Thiruvananthapuram: The District Collector has declared a local holiday on March 3 in Thiruvananthapuram district in connection with Attukal Pongala. The District Collector has ordered that all educational institutions, government and semi-government institutions in Thiruvananthapuram district will be closed on March 3, the main day of the Pongala festival.
