A KSRTC bus caught fire in Manimala, Kottayam. The accident occurred around 4 am between Pazhayadam and Pallipadi. The KSRTC's pleasure bus, which was going from Malappuram to Gavi, caught fire. As soon as the driver saw smoke rising from the bus, he stopped the vehicle and let the passengers out. After this, fire started burning from the back of the bus. No one was injured in the accident. The bus was completely destroyed by the fire. The 28 passengers on the bus were taken to another bus from Ponkunnath and sent to Gavi. The fire force and KSRTC have started an investigation into the incident.
