Thiruvananthapuram: Thalir Scholarship 2025 - District level examination dates announced. Senior category (8th, 9th, 10th classes) will be held on November 29 and Junior category (5th, 6th, 7th classes) on November 30. The online examination will be held from 3 pm to 3.50 pm. Mock tests to provide training in online examination software will be held on November 25 and 26. SMS regarding the examination date will be sent to the candidates before the 22nd. SMS regarding the mock examination will be sent on the evening of November 24. Detailed information and district level helpline numbers can be found on ksicl.org. The online examination will have 100 questions. The time allotted is 50 minutes. You can participate in the examination using devices such as computers, laptops, tablets, mobile phones. You should be careful to use the latest versions of browsers such as Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. The English translation of the questions in Malayalam will also be available with the question. However, English translation will not be provided for the questions related to Malayalam language and literature. The questions will be based on Malayalam language and literature, history, general knowledge and current affairs, and Thalir magazine. The old issues of Thalir magazine are available at ksicl.org. The first 50 positions in the senior and junior categories in the district level examination will be awarded a district level scholarship of Rs. 1,000 and a certificate. Only one candidate who secures the highest score in the district level examination will be eligible to participate in the state level competition. All the students registered for the examination will receive the Thalir magazine by post from January to December 2026.
