More details have emerged about the case of a woman's body found tied in a sack in Thevara Konthuruthy, Kochi. Accused George's statement is that the victim was a sex worker. George gave a statement to the police that he had brought the murdered woman home from Ernakulam South Railway Station last night. After they got home, the two had a financial dispute. After this dispute, George told the police that he killed her by hitting her on the head with a hammer. The woman's body was found tied in a sack this morning on the way to George's house in Thevara Konthuruthy. The body was first seen by cleaning workers. George was sitting next to the body. The police were immediately informed and the police reached the spot and conducted further examinations. During detailed interrogation, the owner of the house, George, confessed to the crime. The police said that blood stains were found inside his house. After committing the murder inside the house, George collapsed while going to dispose of the body. The police said that the victim is suspected to be a native of Ernakulam.
