The buses carrying pilgrims to Amarnath collided. 36 pilgrims suffered minor injuries. The injured were taken to a hospital in Ramban and given primary treatment. The bus, which lost control, rammed into other parked buses. Four buses were damaged. The buses were part of a convoy going from Bhagwati Nagar in Jammu to Pahalgam base camp in south Kashmir. The accident took place around 8 am near Chanderkoot on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway, officials said. The cause of the collision was a brake failure in one of the buses, officials said.
