NEET-PG, the medical entrance exam for postgraduate courses, will be held on August 3. The Supreme Court has accepted the National Board of Examinations' (NBE) plea seeking permission to shift the date of the exam from June 15 to August 3 to make necessary arrangements for conducting the exam in a single shift. The Supreme Court raised several questions while considering the NBE's plea for extension of the exam date. Earlier, the Supreme Court had raised concerns about conducting the exam in a two-shift format on June 15. Subsequently, the Supreme Court ordered that the exam be conducted on a single shift basis. Based on this, the date of the exam scheduled for June 15 was changed. The Supreme Court considered the NBE's petition to allow the exam to be held on August 3 as part of making the necessary arrangements to conduct the exam in a single shift.
