Five people died in the poisonous liquor tragedy in Bihar. The poisonous liquor tragedy took place in East Champaran district. 12 people have been arrested in connection with the incident. Deaths started being reported in the Turkaulia and Raghunathpur police station limits of the district since Wednesday. A 25-year-old man was the first to die. However, the villagers did not release the details of the death. The body of the youth was cremated without informing the police. Nine people are currently undergoing treatment. The condition of three of them is critical. It is reported that six people in Champaran district have lost their eyesight after consuming poisonous liquor.
