Thiruvananthapuram: Metro man E Sreedharan has come up with a new design for the high-speed line. E Sreedharan is proposing a new model that will reduce time and cost. The new report is on the Thiruvananthapuram-Kannur route. Pathanamthitta and Malappuram have been included in the high-speed line. E Sreedharan suggests the new model will reach the lakh mark in 3 hours and 20 minutes. The ticket price will be calculated on the cost of an AC chair car. It is estimated that the cost will be reduced as there will be more pillars and tunnels. The total cost of the project is Rs 54,000 crore.
