Thiruvananthapuram: The 4th Kerala Legislative Assembly International Book Festival (KLIBF 2026) will be held from January 7 to 13. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the book festival at 11 am on January 7 at the R. Sankaranarayanan Thampi Lounge. The children walking through the Kerala Legislative Assembly, looking through books and watching the programs at the book festival venues with curiosity, was the most beautiful sight in the previous editions of the Kerala Legislative Assembly Book Festival. The participation of children in the previous years' Assembly Book Festivals testifies that book festivals like KLIBF can bring children closer to letters, who are often caught up in the hustle and bustle of social media reels and online games. That is why the Kerala Legislative Assembly is preparing a special platform for children's ideological debates and artistic performances at the International Book Festival. Students' Corner is a platform where prominent personalities will interact with children on all days from January 7 to 13 (except Sunday, January 11). The Students' Corner provides a platform for interaction with notable personalities from various fields such as the Chairperson of the State Child Rights Commission, K.V. Manojkumar, Arjun Pandian, M. G. Rajamanikyam, Dr. K. Vasuki, IAS officers like Dilna. K and A. Rupima, Lieutenant Commanders of the Navy, Kalamandalam Bindumarar, Kalyani Gopakumar, Sreeja Priyadarshan, Meenakshi, K.P. Sasikumar, Akhil P. Dharmajan, Mentalist Ananthu, Babu Abraham and other prominent figures in the literary, social and artistic fields.
