Seoul: Samsung is set to intensify the competition as Apple is set to launch its first foldable iPhone in 2026. South Korean tech giant Samsung is reportedly working on a wide-folding mobile phone with a screen as wide as a tablet, CNET reported. The report was quoted by South Korean publication Idinews. The foldable phone, known internally within Samsung circles as the Wide Fold, is expected to be launched in the second half of 2026.
