Pulpally: Another wildlife poaching gang has been arrested in Wayanad. The six-member gang was arrested from Kapiset area under Irulam Forest Station limits. The arrested are Sarath (24), Aneesh (21) of Kapiset Kapipadi Unnati, Shijosh (42) of Karakkat, Rajesh (49) of Nellikunnel, Reji Mathew (54) of Vettuveli and Bijesh (49) of Azhikannul. 45 kg of meat, Innova car, jeep, scooter, gun and knives were also seized from the accused. The search was based on a confidential information received by South Wayanad Divisional Forest Officer Ajith K Raman. Six accused were arrested.
