The response follows news that Baburaj has withdrawn from contesting the AMMA elections. Baburaj's response was through a social media post. Baburaj says that the decision was not made out of fear of anyone. Baburaj announced his decision through a Facebook post. Baburaj says that he has worked in the AMMA organization for the past eight years and has only received harassment complaints and slander as a reward. When Lalettan said he would not be in the committee, I also wanted to withdraw. But everyone together dissuaded me at that time. He added that it is now difficult for me to defend so many allegations and move forward with organizational matters.
