Skeleton parts were found during an inspection conducted by removing soil in Dharmasthala. The skeleton parts were found from spot number six pointed out by the former temple cleaner. On the third day of inspection, crucial evidence was found near the forest near the Netravati bathing ghat. However, it has not been confirmed whether the skeletal parts found are human. The special investigation team stated that further inspection will be conducted in the incident. The special investigation team had marked 13 places pointed out by the former temple cleaner where the bodies of girls and women were buried. Although some points were inspected for two days, nothing was found. Inspection is still pending at the points. SIT chief Jitendra Dayama and Puttur AC Stella Varghese are leading the investigation. Armed police are also patrolling the area.
