Change in rain warning in the state. The Central Meteorological Department has warned that extremely heavy rain will continue in the state today. The forecast says that there is a possibility of widespread extremely heavy rain in northern Kerala. Red alert has been issued in five districts today. Red alert has been issued in Kasaragod, Kannur, Kozhikode, Wayanad and Malappuram districts. Orange alert has also been issued in Palakkad, Thrissur, Ernakulam, Idukki, Kottayam and Pathanamthitta districts. Yellow alert has also been issued in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam and Alappuzha districts. Red alert is on in Kasaragod, Kannur, Kozhikode, Wayanad and Malappuram districts tomorrow as well.
