13 containers contain calcium carbide. 60 containers contain polymer raw materials. 46 containers contain coconut and cashew nuts. The government also states that 87 containers contain wood. Four containers marked 'Cash' contained cashew nuts. 39 containers contain cotton for making cloth. 71 containers did not contain goods. The government has stated that there are 643 containers on the ship. However, the list released shows only 640. The 13 containers contained calcium carbide, a compound of calcium and carbon. Eight of these were inside the ship. The remaining containers were stored outside. Seven of the 13 containers fell into the sea. The rest are on the ship. When calcium carbide mixes with water, it quickly turns into flammable acetylene gas. Acetylene gas is harmful to the human body.
