Speaking at the event, the Chief Minister said that the entrance festival has literally become a festival. The state-level entrance festival ceremony was held at Alappuzha Kalavoor Govt. Higher Secondary School. The Chief Minister said that secularism and democratic consciousness should be developed in the students. School life should not be reduced to acquiring knowledge only. The aim of learning is to build a life. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that an atmosphere of curiosity and inquisitiveness should be created among the students. Children should realize the importance of protecting public property. He suggested that not only the pedagogic method should be used but also the ability to convince children of good things. Knowledge alone is not enough, wisdom and discernment are also needed. Children should approach each thing with critical intelligence. For this, the thinking capacity of children should increase.
