The Department of Public Education has issued an order setting a new timetable for high school classes in the state. Half an hour more working time has been made every day except Friday. High school classes will now be from 9.45 am to 4.15 pm. 15 minutes have been added in the morning and afternoon. The timetable was changed following the strict directive of the High Court to have 220 working days. Saturday will not be made an extra working day in classes one to four. In the UP category, two Saturdays that do not fall in a week of six consecutive working days will be working days. In high school, 6 Saturdays will also be working days. The new educational calendar is designed to complete 220 academic days, including 25 Saturdays.
