Whether it’s a polished professional tone, a funny one-liner to cheer up a friend, or a comforting note to someone who’s had a tough day, this AI feature will provide suggestions in seconds. Once it’s done, you can send your auto-crafted masterpiece or make further edits until it feels just right. To try it out, next time you’re in a one-on-one chat or group conversation, look for a pencil icon. Tap it, and AI will do the rest. There are two important caveats, though: It’s only available in English, and only for users in the United States. But don’t despair if you’re elsewhere. WhatsApp claims it will “bring it to other languages and countries later this year.”
