The wild elephant attack occurred near the Tamil Nadu checkpost in Malakkappara early this morning. The deceased is 75-year-old Mary. Mary, who lives near the Malakkappara checkpost, was attacked by a wild elephant at around 1 am. Following the attack, Mary, who was sleeping inside the house, ran out. Meanwhile, the wild elephant that had come after her, reportedly attacked and killed Mary. Only Mary and her daughter were at home at the time of the attack.
