The team has brought in John Bairstow, Richard Gleeson and Charit Asalanka as replacements. Bairstow replaces Will Jacks. Gleeson and Asalanka replace Ryan Rickelton and Corbin Bosh. Bairstow was previously a player for the Punjab Kings. No one bought the player in the mega auction. Bairstow was signed for Rs 5.25 crore. Gleeson was signed for Rs 1 crore and Asalanka for Rs 75 lakh. The players returned from the IPL team as they had to play for the national team. Rickelton and Bosch have the World Test Championship final ahead of them. Will Jacks flew in for the ODI series against the Windies.
