Thiruvananthapuram: The teachers who arrived at the Nedumangad Government Girls Higher Secondary School on the day of the strike were locked by the protest supporters. Eight teachers who arrived at the school during the strike were locked. Since the main gate of the school was locked, these teachers entered through the back gate. When the protesters came to know about this, they were trapped. Since the office was not open, they could not register their attendance. Finally, at 4:30 in the evening, the school office staff arrived and opened the gate before the teachers were able to leave.
