The United Nations Security Council will meet today as tensions between India and Pakistan escalate following the Pahalgam terror attack. The meeting will discuss the Pahalgam terror attack. The meeting comes amid escalating diplomatic tensions between the two South Asian neighbours. Pakistan had announced that it would report to the UN Security Council "India's aggressive actions, provocations and provocative statements". India's move to suspend the Indus Waters Treaty will also be raised separately. Pakistan's Foreign Office also said that this is an illegal action that threatens "peace and security" in the region.
